Since I’m just homebound because of my MFS, I get to spend heaps of time with my 86-year-old mother who’s vacationing here. The last time that I saw her personally was in July 2008, the night before I left for Aotearoa New Zealand.

MFS has given me the quality time and opportunity to be with her. I was supposed to take her around Auckland and the nearby environs, but this debilitating sickness prevents me from doing that. What MFS does as a virus, is to attack the nerves of my eyes, freezing them and rendering them useless for ordinary and everyday use.
