I don’t know how many times I’ve written a blog post! Started one on fire and then fizzled out later on! I want to be a writer, a good one. I know that I have what it takes to put pen into paper. I have so many stuff that I’d like to write about, so many things that interests me, so many experiences that needs to be written and shared. The problem comes when I start to lose the vibe and finally not write at all. However, I have this great, good feeling, that this time around, I will carry on writing. The age factor seems to be driving me—I will be 66 next year! 

 This blog will be about my media journey on radio, television, online, and on-demand, as well as my 35 years of teaching and mentoring experience in the Philippines, Aotearoa New Zealand, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Thailand. It’s been said that three things will define a man’s existence in this planet: plant a tree, have a family, and write a book. I’ve done the first two, and this blog would be a step in the right direction, for the third one. Nowadays, I am more partial with flash fiction. So most likely my first book will be just like that, a collection of flash fiction stories!
